Planting Trees for The Queen’s Jubilee Program - Project Events

White flowers and buds of the Australian native Lemon Myrtle, Backhousia citriodora, family Myrtaceae. Endemic to coastal rainforest of New South Wales and Queensland. Lemon scented aromatic foliage
Community event

The Australian Government’s Planting Trees for The Queen’s Jubilee Program is supporting a range of community-based tree planting and associated commemorative events across Australia to mark the Jubilee. Funded projects are engaging Australians in activities that honour the memory of The Queen and her service while also providing a legacy of trees that will benefit local communities and their environments. Details of commemorative and tree planting events will be progressively added to the Program’s national map as they are completed. These can be accessed at https://haveyoursay.awe.gov.au/jubilee-trees.
